Shooting the Deep Blue – Diving Roatan Honduras

One of my most favorite assignments is the month I’ve just spent shooting the underwater images for an annual calendar put out by Octopus Dive School in Roatan Honduras. The school is nestled along the north coast of the Bay Islands (Sandy Bay) off the coast of Honduras. It is run by a dynamo of a Spanish born woman by the name of Nuria Corraliza – a funny, professional owner/instructor possessing an unstoppable passion for diving delivered along with an equal dash of humour – and a laughing smile that truly lights the Caribbean. For the last couple of years, I’ve had the privilege of joining her staff seeking out images for the annual calendar. These are some of the contenders – everything from turtles to rays to wrecks. They have it all. And, if you ever travel to the region, you would be hard pressed to find a better or more fun group of professionals to dive with.  They are a hoot!!!
